Sun and warmer weather to start the week
MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – It’s warming up just in time for the start of the work week!
TODAY
Despite a cool start this morning, it is still warmer than previous mornings this weekend and that is the general theme today. Highs will rebound in the mid 70s today for the beaches and the upper 70s for the inland areas. Look for lots of sunshine and a nice day to get out to start the week, including Monday after the masters.
TOMORROW
Southerly winds will continue and bring the heat back midweek. Highs will be in the upper 70s along the coast on Tuesday and in the lower 80s for the far interior areas. Lots of sunshine will continue and all beach plans at the Pelicans’ home opener look perfect for Tuesday.
REST OF THE WEEK
Temperatures will continue in the upper 70s to lower 80s through the end of the week. The abundant sunshine will continue into Wednesday before more clouds move into the area on Thursday.
A cold front will bring a few showers and thunderstorms from Thursday evening to Friday morning. So far the threat of any severe weather remains low, but some storms will be possible late Thursday and Friday.
We should see a nice break from the rain on Friday evening before another round of showers and thunderstorms return for Saturday.
