The apartment’s interiors celebrate contemporary British design, including established and emerging talent, many of whom are London-based artists, sculptors and artisans, according to listing agent Rupert des Forges. The result is an eye-catching, playful apartment that takes inspiration from the expansive surroundings of Hyde Park. The furniture, included in the sale price, includes vintage pieces and specially commissioned new works.
“Each piece has its own color story which is achieved through a multitude of materials,” said Ian Watson, founder of David Collins Studio. “From the sunshine-yellow velvet mohair in the reception room to the cameo-pink hallway featuring a cast Jesmonite floral relief in a tonal hue by British sculptor Lucy Smith, to the Connolly green leather-trimmed study ‘Bentley’ and the ‘pigeon shaded ” Master bedroom wrapped in Loro Piana cashmere wool.
The 2,923 square foot apartment features three bedrooms and three bathrooms. It is one of 54 units in Bryanston’s Tower Apartments and is located on the 11th or 16th floor.
The Bryanston has two floors of wellness amenities, including a spa with a 25-meter indoor pool, hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room, relaxation areas, and a private treatment room. These sit alongside a resident gym and private workout rooms serviced by MER World Scandinavian personal trainers. Amenities are complemented by 24-hour security, concierge services managed by Rhodium, a cinema room and a children’s play area.
Within the unit itself, there is an exercise area in the master suite, as well as an office accessible from the entrance hall without going through the main residence, which would be practical for meetings, according to M. des Forges.
Every room in the house has been adorned with a scent from perfumer H, including a custom cedarwood candle created exclusively for the master suite, ivy in the hallway, and pine in the office.
