Public Safety Warning issued by London Police
A London man is facing charges after he allegedly exposed himself to two girls at a shopping complex in north west London earlier this month.
According to a press release issued by the London Police Service on Thursday, a London man was recently arrested in connection with two indecent act investigations that took place earlier this month.
As a result, London Police are issuing a public safety warning.
Police said on July 4 at around 1.15pm a young girl was with her family at a shopping center in the area of Fanshawe Park Road West and Hyde Park Road when a man exposed himself to her.
After the suspect left the store, the girl alerted her family to the incident and then contacted the police.
At around 4pm on July 12, another young girl was with members of her family in the same shopping center in the Hyde Park area when a man exposed himself to her. The victim alerted a family member, who then contacted the police.
Police said on July 13 a suspect was identified and arrested by London police.
According to the police, the accused and the victims did not know each other.
Following inquests, John Lindsay Bayer, 68, of London, was charged with two counts of indecency to a person under the age of 16.
Police believe there may be other victims and have released the identity and photo of the accused.
The accused remains in custody. He appeared in a London court on July 15 in connection with the charges.
