Partly cloudy, mostly dry and calm
WEST MICHIGAN – Forecasts from FOX 17 meteorologist Anthony Domol: Expect calm conditions this evening with temperatures falling back into the 60s and 50s by late evening. Nighttime lows will be close to 50 degrees. Tuesday brings a mix of sun and cloud and warmer readings pushing back into the mid-70s. Any chance of rainy weather from Wednesday through Thursday now seems minimal as the low pressure area appears to be staying too far south and east to bring appreciable rain to western Michigan. That said, a lost afternoon downpour cannot be completely ruled out on Wednesday or Thursday afternoon. A bigger warm-up will appear on track for next weekend as the ’80s and above return with plenty of sunshine. A temperature of over 90 degrees is on the table early next week.
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy. Not so cool. Low near 50. Winds southwest 5 to 10 mph.
TUESDAY: Partly cloudy to partly sunny. Peaks between mid to high 70s. Winds southwest at 5-10 mph.
WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny. Possibility of afternoon and evening showers, mainly south and east of Grand Rapids. Peaks in the mid to high 70s. Winds southeast 5-10 mph.
THURSDAY: Partly sunny with a chance of showers, maybe a thunderstorm. Highs in the 70s to almost 80s.
FRIDAY: Partly cloudy. Highs from low to the mid-1980s.
