Nice week before the storms arrive this weekend
November certainly doesn’t sound like “November”! Milwaukee hit 70s again today. Another round of 60s and 70s is scheduled for Thursday before big changes this weekend.
The high will move slowly out of the area – bringing strong southwest winds tonight through tomorrow. Thursday morning temperatures will fluctuate between the upper 40s and lower 50s. More sunshine will lead to another day in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Winds could blow up to 30 mph.
Meanwhile, a frontal boundary will sweep across the plains – generating scattered showers and thunderstorms. Cloud cover increases through Friday with the bulk of the rain entering the area by Friday afternoon/evening. A few thunderstorms cannot be ruled out. Higher precipitation totals are expected from Madison and points west. Gusty showers will continue through Saturday as low pressure rises from the SW. Wind gusts could exceed 40 mph. The rain ends late on Saturday and gives way to sunshine on Sunday.
Highs will move into the mid to upper 50s next week. This is still above average for this time of year!
