Against a deadly paced attack by Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami, 4 England batters Jason Roy, Joe Root, Ben Stokes and Liam Livingstone came out for a duck. Jus Buttler scored the most 30 points for the team to take the scoreboard to 110.

The target of 111 runs was an easy chase for India. Openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan completed a 114 run partnership to win the match by 10 wickets for India. Sharma scored 76 while Dhawan scored 31 in the game. Jasprit Bumrah picked 6 wickets in the match and won the player of the match award.
