JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Cloud cover came over us on Wednesday, interrupting the speed at which we are warming up today. We expect to see the temperatures warm up there a bit for the cloud cover beings to separate. Wednesday also holds a chance of rain at about a 20 to 30 percent chance of light showers. But it seems uneventful as far as they are trying to train themselves. Wednesday highs low in the 60s and low in the upper 40s.
Thursday 1970’s high low and mid 1960’s low. We expect a low probability of thunderstorms and maybe a downpour or two. Thursday evening until Friday. We see a 30 percent chance of showers.
Again on Friday, expect about a 30% chance of rain and thunderstorms as Saturday approaches. Fridays High Low 80’s and Low mid 60’s. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to move from Friday evening to Saturday. We are subject to slight risk and marginal risk from Friday night to Saturday. We are looking for gusty winds and cannot rule out a tornado or two.
Thunderstorms continued alongside precipitation across the region on Saturday. Some of the thunderstorms are expected to be severe to severe.
