Another breath of arctic air arrives today. We’ll have some sun, but we’ll still need to wrap ourselves up. It is colder tonight and Sunday morning. A few snowflakes may be around Sunday afternoon. Very cold weather will persist into early next week, but higher temperatures are on the way for the second half of next week.

Slippery spots are definitely possible with the colder air that rushed in Friday night. A new layer of snow has formed a new layer of ice after freezing overnight.

Temperatures drop in the teens at daybreak, and they will stay there for the rest of the day.

Remember to dress in layers and cover your extremities to avoid frostbite and hypothermia.
